Owner & CEO
Angie joined Off The Deep End in 2019, bringing a background in education, software, operations, and business support to a growing company that needed infrastructure for its next chapter. Her husband, Ben, was already part of OTDE, and her friendship with the other owners gave her a front-row seat to the company’s potential. Ready to leave behind the travel required by her previous career, Angie saw an opportunity to help build the systems and structure OTDE needed to grow.
What began as leading day-to-day operations evolved alongside the company, eventually leading to ownership and, today, her role as CEO.
A natural problem-solver and numbers and processes person, Angie focuses on moving OTDE forward by thinking about what the company needs today while always planning for what comes next. Known for being dependable, direct, and persistent, she believes that if she says something is going to happen, it will.
Her vision for OTDE is simple: build a company that provides; for its employees, its customers, and the families who depend on it, and do it with integrity, honesty, accountability, and positive intent at its core. Of everything OTDE has accomplished, Angie is especially proud of the company’s employee and customer retention and the reputation it has built for taking care of both.
Before entering the business world, Angie spent a decade as an elementary school teacher, an experience that still influences how she listens, communicates, coaches, and solves problems.
Outside of OTDE, Angie loves spending time, reading, staying active, and tackling anything involving design. She’s also a fiercely proud Minnesota native who will happily defend her home state, as long as no one asks her to move back to the snow.
